2024 Ford Shelby Super Snake Turns Mustang into a獣160,000 Beast

For the tuning program of the 7th generation Ford Mustang, Shelby American decided to start at the top of its range. It presented a new generation of Super Snake in May, offering buyers a track-tuned mustang with more than 830 horsepower on tap.

The configurator for the 2024 model is currently listed on Shelby's website and the price for the full car is complete159,995.

The price comes with a 6-speed manual transmission. Choosing the available 10-speed automatic of the mustang, you need to add add1,595. Buyers can also choose between coupe and convertible body styles, with 5 5,500 premium for droptop including rollover bar equipment.

The Super Snake Upgrade is designed for the Mustang GT with a performance pack. Its own upgrade is 1 100,555. The price includes a 3-year, 36,000-mile warranty, and the original Ford warranty for the powertrain also remains intact.

To power up to supercar levels, Shelby added a 3.0-liter whipple supercharger, uprated cooling system, Borla high-flow exhaust, and more. A variety of chassis and body upgrades have been added, including a lighter aluminum hood, a wider front end with a unique carbon fiber fender, and a Shelby's proprietary suspension system with 20-inch forged wheels in each corner.

Shelby also includes features that are not related to performance, such as graphic packaging and interior design enhancements.

Shelby said during its public release last month that it plans to offer a Tamer version using the stock 5.0-liter V-8 of the Mustang GT.

Production will be limited in 2024 to 250 cars, each of which will be included in the official Shelby Registry. While the upgrade is exclusively for the US market, Shelby said some additional examples could be built by partner performance shops elsewhere depending on demand.
