2025 Lexus NX starting at $41,765

Lexus' NX compact crossover has undergone minor changes for the 2025 model year.

The NX adds one exterior color option (Copper Crest), a Macadamia interior color option for Luxury models, and two USB-C ports on the center console for a total of six ports. Wireless device charging is now available on all grades, and park assist, rain-sensing wipers, and a power tailgate are now standard equipment.

Lexus continues to offer gasoline, hybrid, and plug-in hybrid powertrains in the NX, which has been available in its current form since the 2022 model year.

The base NX 250 is powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder that produces 203 hp and 184 lb-ft of torque and an eight-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive are available, with Lexus-estimated 0-60 mph times of 8.2 and 8.6 seconds, respectively.

The NX 350 is powered by a 2.4-liter turbo four that produces 275 hp and 317 lb-ft of torque. This engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic, but the NX 350 is only available with all-wheel drive. Lexus' 0-60 mph time is 6.6 seconds.

In typical Lexus fashion, the NX 350h hybrid with all-wheel drive uses a gasoline engine (in this case a naturally aspirated 2.5-liter four-cylinder) and an electric motor/generator to drive the front wheels, with a second motor driving the rear wheels. This combination delivers 240 hp, 0-60 mph in 7.2 seconds, and a combined fuel economy of 39 mpg.

Finally, the Lexus NX 450h+ plug-in hybrid has the same basic setup as the hybrid model, but with a larger battery pack. Total system output is 304 hp and the 0-60 mph time has been reduced to 6.0 seconds. The larger battery pack also increased the range to 37 miles.

The F Sport Handling Package, available on the NX350 and NX450h+, adds adaptive dampers and 20-inch wheels, sportier styling, and more voluminous sport seats.

The NX's infotainment includes a standard 9.8-inch touchscreen and an optional 14.0-inch display, with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity as standard. Expected driver assistance features such as forward collision warning, automatic emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, and lane departure warning are also available. A heads-up display and digital key feature are also available.

Prices start at $41,765 for the base front-wheel drive NX 250; $45,525 for the NX 350; $46,075 for the NX 350h; and $62,290 for the NX 450h+. All prices include a $1,150 destination charge.
