At Monterey Car Week, Lincoln unveiled the L100 Concept as part of its celebration as a featured brand. The long, low EV imagines a socially welcoming autonomous vehicle of the future. Created to celebrate the brand's 100th anniversary, the car has long doors and a bubble-top roof that opens like a flower for easy entry, while the interior features a chessboard-like controller in the center instead of a steering wheel.

Acura has announced that the company's first electric crossover SUV will be named ZDX, followed by the performance-oriented ZDX Type S. ZDX is the name of a coupe-like crossover built from 2010 to 2013 that Acura is currently developing with General Motors' It will adorn an electric SUV being developed in cooperation with General Motors, look for its arrival in 2024.

Porsche is developing a high-performance hydrogen-burning engine as a possible means of cleaning up carbon dioxide emissions from internal combustion engines. The company used a 4.4-liter V-8 twin turbo to generate 590 horsepower with hydrogen. Challenges to using hydrogen include the necessary infrastructure, avoiding harmful nitrogen oxide emissions, and increasing the amount of air pressure produced by the turbo to achieve equivalent power.
