2025 Subaru BRZ base price increases to $32,265

Subaru's BRZ sports car will enter the 2025 model year largely unchanged, but it will still see a significant price increase.

The 2025 BRZ will hit showrooms early next year, starting at $32,265 including a $1,170 destination charge. This is $950 more than the 2024 model, which is $1,700 more than the previous year's model.

The only change for the 2025 model year is the addition of a sport mode as standard equipment on models equipped with a manual transmission. According to Subaru, this mode offers sharper throttle response.

The 2025 BRZ model year includes the base model Premium, the mid-range Limited, and the STI-enhanced flagship tS. All are powered by a 2.4-liter flat-4 engine with a maximum output of 228 hp and drive the rear wheels only. A six-speed manual transmission is standard with this engine, but the Limited can also be equipped with a six-speed automatic, with prices starting at $34,915 for the manual and $35,765 for the automatic.

0-60 mph takes about 6 seconds with the manual and 7 seconds with the automatic.

Standard features include a Torsen limited-slip differential, LED headlights, 17-inch wheels, a 7.0-inch digital meter cluster, leather steering wheel, red accent stitching, and a stability control system with track mode. Some of the digital meter clusters include customizable gauges that can display amperage, coolant temperature, or lateral G When the truck mode is selected, the tachometer switches from a traditional circular to a linear graph.

For infotainment, an 8.0-inch touchscreen is standard, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are also available. Standard electronic driver assistance features include adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, and lane departure warning.

The tS is a new addition to the 2024 lineup, and its name implies that it is a “tuned by STI” model. Mild performance tweaks include Hitachi dampers, Brembo brakes, 18-inch wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires, and exterior accents. 2025 models start at $37,415.
