2024 Porsche 911 S/T, 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ: Top Photos of the Week

Porsche unveiled its new 911 Special Edition this week. The car is a modern take on the 911 S/T introduced in 1971 and features the lightest weight of any current 911.

One of the vehicles we tested this week is a track-focused variant of the redesigned 2024 Ford Mustang lineup. It is called the Dark Horse and is similar to its predecessor's Mach 1 grade, but with increased performance.

Nissan's latest Z sports car has spawned a more hardcore Nismo variant. The new version features more power, improved aerodynamics, and a stiffer chassis to improve the Z's racetrack performance.

Toyota has unveiled a new Land Cruiser that will be offered to U.S. buyers next spring. It will be slightly smaller than the 300-series Land Cruisers sold overseas and will be available with round or square headlights.

Cadillac plans to introduce three electric vehicles this year, including the electric Escalade, a prototype of which was spotted this week. The prototypes show that the electric Escalade is not simply a clone of the current gas-powered model.

Another electric Cadillac spotted testing this week was a mid-size SUV with third-row seating. This would bridge the gap between the Lyriq, a two-row mid-size SUV, and the Escalade, an electric full-size SUV.

Italy's Totem Automobili returned with a new version of its stunning restomod inspired by the original Alfa Romeo Giulia GTA homologation special from the early 1970s. Replacing the electric powertrain of the previous restomod is a twin-turbocharged V-6 engine that delivers 750 hp.

And finally, one of the earliest Volkswagen Type 2 vans, known as a microbus, was found abandoned in a barn in Ohio for 43 years and completely restored. This particular bus was originally owned by VW and used to transport training staff between dealerships when the automaker had stores in the US.
