Up for sale is a 2008 Koenigsegg CCX with manual transmission.

Supercars with manual transmissions are becoming a rarity; this one, first spotted by Road & Track, has the requisite three pedals and is currently for sale through Cleveland dealer Marshall Goldman for an asking price of $1.2 million.

One of only 29 CCXs built, it currently has 1,541 miles on the odometer. It is finished in metallic black with exposed carbon fiber wheels and carbon fiber door sills. The interior is black leather and Alcantara, but there is extensive use of carbon fiber in the dashboard inserts, steering wheel, and air vents; the two bucket seats are also carbon fiber; and the rear seats are carbon fiber.

A six-speed manual transmission is bolted to a 4.7-liter V-8 supercharger that produces 806 hp and 676 lb-ft of torque. As is typical of supercars, the engine is mounted behind the driver and drives the rear wheels. Koenigsegg claims a 0-62 mph time of 3.2 seconds and a top speed of over 245 mph. The CCX also once held the lap record on the Top Gear Test Track at the height of the popular Top Gear show.

The CCX also features carbon ceramic brakes, a front end lift system, rear view camera, tire pressure monitoring system, and a fire extinguisher.

Koenigsegg has never stuck with a particular model for long; the CCX was soon overtaken by the CCX Edition and CCXR models, and then by a clean-sheet design in the form of the Agera. The Agera was then replaced by the three current Koenigsegg supercars (Regera, Jesco, and Gemera).

All three cars brought impressive technology, such as the Jesco's light-speed transmission and the Gemera's three-cylinder free valve engine. None, however, offered a manual transmission.
