Aston Martin Valkyrie production ends in 2024

3 years after manufacturing the first customer, the Valkyrie, Aston Martin confirmed that production of the V-12 hypercar will close soon.

In a statement to the Motor Authority, Aston Martin spokesman Morgan Theys said the final Valkyrie would be built by the end of 2024.

When all is done, Aston Martin will be building 150 examples of Valkyrie Coupe, an additional 85 examples of Valkyrie Spider, and 40 examples of Valkyrie AMR Pro only on the track.

Production of the car will be processed at Aston Martin's headquarters in Gaydon, UK.

All versions are equipped with a 6.5-liter V-12 paired with a mild hybrid system that can provide an electric boost. The combined output for the car is enough for 1,139 hp, or 2.5-0-60mph acceleration in less than a second. Valkyrie also recently wrapped up the British Silverstone Circuit with a time of 1:56.42. This is the record of a production car on a race track, the first time it was set within 2 minutes by a production car. Time is faster than what some GT3 race cars have put down. It also broke the previous record of the Muncie-enhanced Porsche 911 GT2RS 2:06.82 set by MR.

among the owners were Formula 1 World champions Max Verstappen and Fernando Alonso, as well as the aerodynamics expert Adrian, who is the star of Red Bull racing. - there's newy. The Valkyrie was designed by Newway when Aston Martin was still in a technical partnership with Red Bull. Newy is working for Aston Martin soon, as he joins its F1 team in 2025, and with luck he will eventually pen a successor model

although production is almost beyond the usual Valkyrie, Aston Martin will be able to meet the rules of the Le Mans Hypercar. We are also developing Valkyrie race cars that were built for us. Multiple examples of race cars to be known as Valkyrie AMR-LMH will be entered into next year's IMSA Sports Car Championship and FIA World Endurance Championship. The car will be defended by the new team Aston Martin Thor, which is a partnership between Aston Martin and the heart of American racing.
