Verstappen wins 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix for 4th f1 title

Red Bull Racing's Max Verstappen, following the 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix, won the F1 World Championship in 4 consecutive years.

That means he will join an elite group of drivers with 4 or more championships under their belts. On the list are Alain Prost and Sebastian Vettel with 4 titles each, plus 5 Juan Manuel Fangio and 7 Luis Hami

Verstappen only finished in the place of Fis in Las Vegas, but the score was 2 races in Qatar and Abu Dhabi. This means that the team is invincible this season despite the fact that the team still has a lot to offer. The 2nd race in the championship is still between McLaren's Rand Norris and Ferrari's Charles Leclerc, but unlike the 21

with current Leclerc, where Verstappen recorded 19 wins and a 15-win streak in 2023, the Red Bull driver is expected to win in 2024. It's not always the fastest, and so far we've only won 8 races. Red Bull's pace has come off from mid-season, and the team will also lose star sky mechanics Adrian Newy to Aston Martin next year. Hamilton will be another wild card to drive for Ferrari next season.

The victory in Las Vegas went to Mercedes-Benz AMG's George Russell, who led his team-mate Hamilton with a one-two finish. 3rd place went to Ferrari's Carlos Sainz. Russell led the race from the pole, cleared 7 seconds from Hamilton and nearly 12 seconds ahead of Sainz.

Russell was almost unsteady during the 50-lap race, but Hamilton moved impressively to No. 10 after starting from No. 2 on the grid. Hamilton was somewhat helped by Leclerc, who fought for the lead early on, but fell back after being too aggressive on his tyres and early

Leclerc, along with Sainz, was again in the closing stages thanks to some attention from Verstappen. You'll get to move on and on. The Red Bull driver took part in the race knowing that he had to finish ahead of Norris to secure the title, so despite winning the podium after the second round pit stop, he did not fight two Ferrari approaching backwards on the closing lap and was easily passed. He chose to let them go. Sainz finished ahead of Leclerc, who needed to settle in 4th place.

At this point, Hamilton was approaching Russell at the front in the last few laps and repeatedly taking dozens of seconds to his teammates. But before the checkered flag was waved, he could not keep up. Following the weekend's action, Verstappen's points were tallied in the 2024 Drivers' Championship with 403 points. Norris is 340 points in 2nd place, while Leclerc is 319 points in 3rd place. In the Constructors' Championship, McLaren leads by 608 points. Ferrari is 584 points back in 2nd place, while Red Bull is 555 points back in 3rd place due to poor performance from driver Sergio Perez.

The next race on the calendar is the Qatar Grand Prix, which is scheduled for next weekend.
