The “World Ender” is a Land Rover Defender 6x6 for $374,999.

Florida-based Apocalypse Manufacturing has unveiled another six-wheeled creation. This time it's a Land Rover Defender dubbed the “World Ender.”

Apocalypse claims to have created the first 6x6 version of the current Defender. The goal was to create a competitor to the Mercedes-Benz G 63 AMG 6x6, which has been an expensive collector's item since it was briefly produced about a decade ago.

The 6x6 conversion retained the Defender's third-row seats but added a four-foot pickup bed. The rear axle was mounted on a tubular subframe, allowing the rearmost axle to be disconnected from the drivetrain for improved fuel economy. The Apocalypse is powered by the same 518-horsepower supercharged 5.0-liter V-8 engine as the stock Defender.

The Worldender is equipped with an air suspension that can raise or lower the vehicle's height by 8 inches and a lift-up kit built in-house by Apocalypse. The suspension lift, along with fender flares that increase the vehicle's width by 2 feet, make room for 38-inch tires mounted on 20-inch wheels. A roll cage over the bed, push bars, side steps, and roof rack complete the exterior modifications.

Apocalypse is now taking orders for the Defender 6x6. Prices start at $374,999, which also beats the $297,999 price tag for the company's 2022 Ram 1500 TRX-based Juggernaut 6x6.

Land Rover fans who want to stick to four wheels also have the option of the 2025 Defender Octa, a genuine off-road performance model with a twin-turbocharged 4.4-liter V-8 that produces 626 horsepower along with a mild hybrid system.
