2025 Aston Martin DBX with new interior and standard 707 power

Aston Martin will make significant changes to the 2025 DBX.

The 2025 DBX, which will begin deliveries in the second quarter of this year, is available to order and is offered only in the guise of the range-topping DBX707.

The move is part of Aston Martin's strategy to focus on both ultra-luxury and ultra-high-performance vehicles. The DBX707, introduced for the 2023 model year, has also accounted for over 70% of DBX sales since its launch.

Additional updates for 2025 include a revamped dashboard to match the more premium design introduced in the new DB12 and Vantage sports cars, also coming in 2025. Major changes include new screens for the digital meter cluster (12.3-inch) and infotainment system (10.3-inch), as well as a new center console that eliminates the previous touchpad and scroll wheel borrowed from the Mercedes-Benz parts bin controls, which were borrowed from a Mercedes-Benz parts bin.

The infotainment system is Aston Martin's in-house system, introduced for the first time in the DB12. It features wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, with full online connectivity supported by the Aston Martin App. Multiple USB-C connections and Aston Martin's own 14-speaker sound system are also standard; a 23-speaker Bowers & Wilkins system is also available.

Other cabin changes include a new steering wheel design, as well as new air vents and door handles. According to Aston Martin, there are also new trim options.

On the exterior, Aston Martin has added updated side mirrors that swivel with the entire mirror and outer cap in one piece when adjusted. This design allows for larger mirrors without increasing the width of the car. According to Aston Martin, the new mirrors also improve the cameras that make up part of the surround-view camera system. There are also more color and wheel options.

While engine performance has not been improved, Aston Martin says that the SUV's electronic dampers and air spring settings have been tweaked to further improve handling at the limit. Standard wheels are 22 inches, but 23-inch wheels are also available. Carbon ceramic brakes are standard equipment.

The engine is mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission and drives all four wheels. Performance is 0-60 mph in 3.1 seconds and top speed is 193 mph.

The DBX707 may not be the only grade of SUV for long. Aston Martin plans to roll out several plug-in hybrid models in the coming years, and the DBX will likely adopt that technology. Aston Martin's only plug-in hybrid is the Valhalla supercar, which will be unveiled later this year. Aston Martin's first EV is expected in 2026.
