Nissan's electric sports car concept leads sustainable mobility event

Nissan will host an event at its headquarters in Yokohama during the month of February to showcase its future initiatives, particularly in the area of sustainable mobility.

Dubbed "Nissan Futures," the event will also feature a concept car that Nissan first presented virtually in 2021.

Nissan plans 15 EVs across the Nissan and Infiniti brands by 2030, with the first EVs expected to arrive in 2025.

While Nissan has not mentioned production plans for the above four concepts, the automaker's design chief Alfonso Albaisa told Motor Authority in a 2022 interview that his design team is investigating an electric pickup truck. An executive representing a Nissan dealer later revealed that Nissan is studying an electric truck for the U.S.
