2023 Lexus RC starting at $45,470

The 2023 Lexus RC enters the new year largely unchanged. The only notable updates to the luxury coupe are a new Appearance Package and the return of the RC F Track Edition performance grade, which had been temporarily suspended.

The lineup once again begins with the base RC 300, with the base rear-wheel-drive version powered by a 2.0-liter turbo four that produces 241 hp and 258 lb-ft of torque; the RC 300 is also available with all-wheel drive and features a naturally aspirated 3.5-liter V-6 engine produces a maximum output of 260 hp and 236 lb-ft of torque.

The RC 350 is also equipped with the same V6 engine, but it is tuned to produce 311 hp and 280 lb-ft whether rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive is selected. The rear-wheel-drive RC 300 and RC 350 models will be mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission, while all-wheel-drive models will be mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission.

For 2023, a new F Sport Appearance Package will be added, with a two-tone exterior with black hood and roof and dark-finish 19-inch Enkei wheels.

As before, the Lexus RC F gets its power from a 5.0-liter V-8 engine with 472 hp and 395 lb-ft of torque. According to Lexus, this output is sent to the rear wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission, giving the RC F a 0-60 mph acceleration time of 4.2 seconds. Top speed is estimated at 168 mph.

Also unchanged are the RC F's other performance upgrades, including adaptive dampers, Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires, and Brembo brakes. The optional Carbon Package adds a carbon fiber roof, rear bumper, front and rear spoilers, and interior trim made from lightweight materials.

A more hardcore RC F Track Edition is also available, which adds a standard carbon fiber hood and roof, a large fixed rear wing, and Brembo carbon ceramic brakes. The Track Edition was launched for the 2020 model year, replaced in 2021 and 2022 by the Fuji Speedway Edition, which features essentially the same changes as the base RC F. The Track Edition added a new gray color called Incognito in 2023.

Prices start at $45,470 for the base rear-wheel-drive RC 300 (all prices include a $1,150 destination charge); $48,400 for the RC 350; $67,845 for the RC F; $100,720 for the RC F Track Edition The price will be. The vehicles are expected to arrive at dealerships in the coming months.
