Nismo to Display Official Nissan Z Parts at SEMA Concept

Nissan's Z sports car has been a popular tuning vehicle for decades. That is not likely to change with the 2023 Nissan Z, especially with its new twin-turbo V-6 powertrain, which offers ample potential for performance gains.

The Japanese automaker will offer a full range of Nismo upgrades and accessories for the 2023 Nissan Z starting in early 2023. The automaker will preview upcoming tuning parts with the Nissan Nismo Accessorized Z Concept, scheduled for unveiling at the 2022 SEMA Show in Las Vegas.

Parts will be offered for nearly every aspect of the vehicle's performance enhancements, including engine, suspension, brake, and wheel upgrades. Carbon fiber styling upgrades will also be unveiled. [adjustable coilover suspension developed in conjunction with racing driver Brian Heitkotter, a 2011 Nissan GT Academy graduate; Nismo brake package with six-piston front calipers and four-piston rear calipers; 19-inch Nismo LM-RS 1 wheelset, and a Nismo cold air intake and exhaust system for the Z's twin-turbo 3.0-liter V-6 are other highlights. Nissan has not revealed whether the Nismo will have more than the stock 400 hp.

Visually, the cabin features Nismo-branded goodies such as carbon fiber side mirror housings, Nismo-branded fuel filler caps, a titanium gear shifter and door sill plates. Under the hood, the car is equipped with a Nismo-branded oil filler cap and coolant expansion tank, as well as a carbon fiber engine cover.

This year's SEMA Show is scheduled for November 1-4. At this event, Nissan will unveil its new Z GT4 racing car and a 1,300-horsepower Z Drift car powered by a modified Nissan GT-R engine. The car was built by Forsberg Racing for three-time Formula Drift champion Chris Forsberg.
