Hennessey Velociraptor 6x6 pickup returns with 558 hp

If you're looking for the biggest, baddest pickup truck around, Sealy, Texas-based Hennessey Performance Engineering has you covered.

Whether you're a fan of Ford, Chevy, or Ram, Hennessey has a monster 6x6 pickup truck for you. The latest is the Velociraptor 6x6, based on Hennessey's Gen 3 Velociraptor.

The Velociraptor is Hennessey's tuned line of F-150 Raptors, now entering its third generation. The second generation version was the first to offer a 6x6 option, but now Hennessey has a follow-up.

The latest Velociraptor 6x6 is based on Ford's F-150 Raptor, which was introduced in 2021. The result is a familiar twin-turbo 3.5-liter V-6 under the hood, tuned by Hennessey to spit out 558 hp and 672 lb-ft of torque.

To improve off-road performance, the truck features a dual-lock rear axle, raised suspension, upgraded Fox dampers, additional LEDs, and huge 20-inch wheels with 37-inch off-road tires. It also features a mean-looking bumper and a protective bar up front. According to Hennessey, the suspension has been improved over the previous setup, allowing it to transfer more power to the ground.

Naturally, the vehicle has also been stretched to accommodate the third axle. This made it possible to install a custom 8-foot bed that boasts 45% more volume than the stock 5.5-foot bed.

Pricing for the Gen 3 Velociraptor 6x6 starts at $399,950 and can be shipped worldwide. Vehicles are already in production, with the first examples beginning delivery in early September.
